Si on va plus loin que le changement de look, vous vous demandez probablement quels autres changements ils y ont apportés. **Découvrons l’ensemble des modifications !** ### ***MOTEUR*** Le nouveau CRF250R partage presque tout du CRF450R 2018 et presque rien du précédent modèle du CRF250R. Pour commencer, Honda c’est départi de son vieux moteur uni-cam et à **développer un nouveau moteur comprenant un ‘’dual-overhead-cam’’**. On retrouve aussi de plus grandes soupapes d’admission, plus grand rapport course/alésage, plus grandes soupapes d’échappement.  Honda se différenciait déjà des autres avec son échappement double. Le nouveau CRF250R 2018 possède dès maintenant **une vrai sorti double** et non une qui se divise en deux. On remarque donc plus de puissance avec une meilleure bande de révolution dans un moteur plus petit et plus léger. Intéressant ! Tout comme le CRF450R 2018, le nouveau CRF250R 2018 possède un **démarreur électrique** alimenté par une batterie au Lithium-ion. Le combo démarreur et batterie ajoute **seulement 1 kilo** à la machine. À partir du guidon, il est possible de choisir selon **trois différents modes** qui viennent modifier le comportement du moteur. Honda a **remplacé l’ancien réservoir d’essence pour un** **tout nouveau en titane**. Le cadre a aussi reçu une refonte presque complète. Il est maintenant plus court, possède une meilleure garde au sol et un centre de gravité plus bas. **Le bras oscillant a été aussi raccourci pour un meilleur transfert de puissance** et une meilleure traction au sol. Honda à échanger la fourche à l’air qui était sur la version précédente pour une nouvelle **fourche à l’huile** fabriqué par Showa. Avec un point d’attache plus bas, le nouveau Honda CRF250R 2018 montre plus de stabilité et une meilleure souplesse.
