Voici quelques conseils de base pour bien entreposer votre véhicule durant la période hivernale. - **Remplir le réservoir à essence afin d’éviter la formation de rouille dans celui-ci;** - **Ajouter un stabilisateur à essence afin d’éviter la dégénérescence du carburant;** - **Effectuer la vidange d’huile. L’huile contaminée ne conservera pas ses propriétés sur une longue période. Elle se dégradera, s’oxydera et pourrait endommager votre moteur;** - **Bien lubrifier la chaine afin d’éviter la formation de rouille sur celle-ci;** - **Garder la pression des pneus au maximum et si possible déplacer le véhicule une fois par mois afin d’éviter la déformation des pneus;** - **Bien nettoyer la motocyclette afin d’éviter que les contaminants n’endommagent votre véhicule;** - **Brancher un chargeur intelligent à votre batterie afin d’éviter une décharge complète. Une batterie à plat pendant une longue période peut devenir inutilisable;** - **Couvrir votre motocyclette d’une housse appropriée pour la protéger des éléments externes.** Pour un programme complet de remisage adapté à votre véhicule, consulter le manuel du manufacturier ou visitez votre concessionnaire local.
