# Des communications claires dans des environnements extrêmes!

Jean-Pierre Veillette, producteur à la télévison de Radio-Canada a fait l'essai du modèle **Atlantis 250-BK d’UNIDEN** pour l'installation des équipements de production à l'aréna Maurice Richard à Montréal lors des championnats du monde de patinage de vitesse courte piste qui avait lieu du 14 au 16 mars dernier.

D’après le catalogue Marine de Kimpex, cet appareil est un émetteur-récepteur VHF bidirectionnel, portatif et étanche, conçu pour de multiples usages. Uniden a combiné dans ce modèle (aussi disponible en gris) plusieurs fonctions standards de radio marine, des progrès technologiques et une conception élégante. Elle est très compacte, vraiment légère et tient aisément dans la main; et tous les canaux NOAA vous tiennent constamment au courant de la météo.

Lors de mes essais, le “walkie talkie” Uniden Atlantis était facile d'utilisation et la communication sonore était claire et surtout de bonne portée. Le choix de différents canaux nous a permis de sélectionner un canal ou nous étions seuls sur les ondes, car il y avait beaucoup de trafic de communication sur place.

Pendant notre production télévisuelle, les deux appareils ont servis à être en communication entre l'organisation de la compétition et la régie de production de Radio-Canada.

Le prochain test sera en mai sur une expédition de préparation au nord de la la région de la Mauricie, au Québec en vue de la grande expédition de canot-camping sur la rivière Broadback à la fin de juin prochain.
