About me

I began riding on a 1978 Yamaha GT80. That little machine took the 12 year old version of me to places I could never have imagined, and opened my mind – and my spirit – to possibilities I had never dreamed of.

And then I became a teenager, and got distracted. Girls. Cars. Parties….

It was 27 years later that I bought my next bike. A 10 year old Honda Shadow 750 ACE.

And when I started it up and threw my leg over her for the very first time I was immediately transported back to that 12 year old boy, almost overcome with a sense of awe and wonder.

4 years, 80,000+ kilometers, 2 broken ankles and one new bike later, I still cannot seem to get enough. It’s not a hobby. It’s not a means of transportation. Its something you feel in your bones; in your blood; in your soul.

Motorcycle riding. It’s a way of living.
