What is a Chic-Chocs adventure?
Check their Website and you will see what they are: a business specialized in guide services, Backcountry snowmobile rentals and lodging… Live the experience and you’ll have a whole other definition of a Chic-Chocs Adventure!
“Experience” is the word! Chic-Chocs Adventure: you just live it. It’s an intense experience in a heavenly surrounding, which we are not accustomed to! Off-trail at an altitude of 1200 feet in the Chic-Choc Mountains area in up to 10-15 feet of snow with a guide wound up like 10 of them… THAT’S THE CHIC-CHOCS ADVENTURE.
Is the Chic-Chocs Backcountry Adventure for you?
Snowmobiling off-trail is an extreme sport, in every sense of the word! It’s extreme on the body and the spirit. It’s a sport in which we always strive to overcome our limits and confront fear. We must be fit and ready to pull the snowmobile out when it’s stuck in 4 feet of snow!
You have never been snowmobiling, and think you can have a good time with the Adventure Chic-Chics guides? No problem… they will offer you an initiation session and the rental of their snowmobiles! Trust me; they will push your limits to a maximum!
You have an off-road snowmobile and you’re looking for a wild trip? The Chic-Chocs Adventure is for you! The guides are very familiar with the whole area. They know where the most beautiful spots of powder and climbs are, or even where to go for Tree riding! As I mentioned before, they are wound up like 10 of them! You think it won’t go through? It always goes through with Jonathan as guide. KEEP IT PINNED!
A word of caution
In the small town where Chic-Chocs backcountry Adventure is located, the concept of “kilometers” no longer exists. Everything is measured in number of engine revving! “Hey Jo, how many kilometers to the top of the mountain? Rev your engine eight times and we’ll be there!”
I personally loved the experience! Outstanding guides who push the limits in stunning landscapes!
