As we envy them, we say to ourselves: ‘’Ah, they seem so free!’’. The CKX SLICK helmet is the classic open face helmet model, or more commonly called the bowl. Offering a sleek and timeless style, the SLICK offers: • **a Proclip mechanism for quick opening of the tether strap;** **• an inside lining of brushed nylon and perforated leather;** **• a padded chin strap;** **• a bolted palette style.** Are you fed up with your helmet that makes you look like a mushroom once it’s on your head? Well, the CKX SLICK is one of the smallest open face helmet available on the market and it is totally legal. To offer adequate security, the SLICK is made of an injection molded, shock resistant glass fibre/Kevlar shell. This design is approved by the DOT FMVSS218 standard. Comfort is assured by the extensive ventilation which the open face helmet offers and from the padded areas resting on the driver’s head. We all want a helmet that is discreet and so light that you don’t feel it while riding. This way, the sensation of freedom while riding their bikes is tenfold! The CKX SLICK helmet is altogether appropriate to get that feeling! The lightweight helmet (870 gm) really impressed me and the comfort was not compromised with an inside nylon and perforated leather lining with a padded chin strap. I also adored feeling the wind on my face while riding. Although it is a minimalist helmet, it looks very solid and safe when it is worn.
