This article is a presentation of the TX707 helmet by Canadian brand CKX based in Drummondville.  The off-road helmet is the first carbon product developed by the Quebec company.

CKX-TX707 — Shell and protection

The shell of the CKX TX707 is made of carbon composite fibers. For this reason, the helmet has an average weight of 975 grams, which makes it one of the lightest helmets in the industry! While it is among the lightest helmets, it is also very safe as it complies with or surpasses ECE 22.05 standards.

CKX - TX707 — Lining and comfort

The linings of the TX707 helmet are removable.  Due to a punch system that holds them in place, you can easily remove them for washing. To remove the cheek pads, you need only pull on them gently for the ends to come out of their base. In addition, the center lining is also removable. There are two points of insertion on each side of the head at the nape of the neck level and a zipper at the forehead for the front.  For maximum comfort, the  CKX TX707 was constructed using two shell sizes.

Target group for the CKX TX707?

TX707 is a true off-road winter helmet and therefore intended for diehard winter powersport enthusiasts, whether on a snowmobile, ATV or UTV. Its lightweight makes it a helmet that everyone appreciates, mainly on long outings. Equipped with a breath deflector to prevent fogging up your glasses, and a chin curtain to reduce the amount of air bouncing off your chest into your helmet, the TX707 is designed by passionate people for wide-open space enthusiasts who are not afraid to play outdoors!
